Apple India To Provide Zero Downpayment Plans For iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus

Last year, Apple and Reliance had launched the Reliance Zero plans for iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S with zero down payment making them highly desirable. Is Apple planning the same this year? The news of Reliance Communications coming up with Zero Payment plans for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus was first reported back in October but after that there has been no such official announcements by Reliance nor Apple regarding it.
However, it seems that the Reliance Zero Plans might be just around the corner as Apple’s India website now has a link to Reliance’s official online eShop home page. But, after visiting the Reliance eShop site, the website neither has the iPhone 6 nor the iPhone 6 Plus listed under its Zero Plan offers. This may perhaps suggest that the offer is still in its final stage and waiting for its official announcement.
A Reliance Zero Plan allows Reliance customers to buy a mobile phone under 6 months, 12 months or 24 months contract (depending upon the price) and one won’t be required to make any downpayment. Apple in October had launched the iPhone 6, a 4.7 inch smartphone at Rs. 53,500 for the 16GB variant, Rs. 62,500 for the 64GB variant, and Rs. 71,500 for the 128GB variant and iPhone 6 Plus which was a 5.5 inch smartphone smartphone at Rs. 62,500 for the 16GB variant, Rs. 71,500 for the 64GB variant, and Rs. 80,500 for the 128GB variant.

According to the leaked images, Reliance Zero would offer the iPhone 6 would be charge at Rs. 3,099 per month for 24 months which tallies to Rs. 74,376 for two years. Whereas, the iPhone 6 Plus was for Rs. 3,599 per month for 24 months which totals up to Rs. 86,376 for two years. There were no prices mentioned for its other variants but they might be available soon once the Reliance Zero plan is officially announced by the authorities.
